Christmas Markets Equals Christmas Shopping
I will be the first to admit that I am terrible when it comes to being convinced to go on a shopping spree. But with a little spin on things and some enticement, I can grudgingly be swayed. Jennifer has always wanted to visit Prague, and the European Christmas market theme has been a source of intrigue for some time now. This two week sojurn by boat, train and a little cycling will start off in Munich and end in Prague with stops in Vienna, Budapest as well as points in between. We will be joined by friends Shirley and Lorne and despite closing the dining room every night on our last journey together, the lure of schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerkraut and bier is as enticing as any dining experience should be. Prices will be in Euros so despite appearing inexpensive the true story will be told with the opening of the credit card statement next month. Frohe Weihnachten!!
